@JoJoistheway: JoJo, as an avid fan of your work, I must say your lyrical ability is a home run as you write material driven by real life matters dealing with personal inferiority, hope for love, faith, resentment and a whole catalog of mature subjects. And your voice, that tone, it’s soulful ring of fire: a low haze that signal’s its listeners then ends up burning them up in a melodic furnace. After listening to your mixtape for Can’t Take That Away from Me, I was completely appalled to see that your junior effort All I Want Is Everything, is still being stuck in limbo. Any one of those tracks had major radio friendly potential to launch you back into the public eye. Unfortunately, I understand the political aspect of the music industry of how your fate lies in the hands of those stupid record executives. The head of labels always think they know what’s good for an artist by directing them into a specific lane to appease the masses, often blocking off their creativity. Good thing you keep your ears close to your heart to hear what you love. By you taking this newfound freedom to reclaim your career, it has recharged my ambition to tackle my passions in my music despite the naysayers. I know that I don’t know you personally, but I’m writing this letter to you in order to show my appreciation for your contribution in music. I’m reassuring you that I’m in the same fight as you to claim that top spot, because in everyone one of us wants a little bit of everything—-success, love, peace of mind—-to claim that “top spot,” whatever makes our hearts warm and eyes water.
